Windsurf Board

During a photo walk at Emerson Point Preserve, a windsurfer left his board on the beach while conversing with some in our group.

During our walk, our instructor managed to get a windsurfer to stay out a bit longer so we could get some shots.

For some reason this silhouette caught my attention as I stopped to watch the sun drop. It ended up being one of my favorite shots of the day.

Beach Mangroves

About 20 minutes before sunset, the light dropped just right behind the mangroves and let me produce this image. The reflections had a softening effect on the tree tips near the top of the photo.
