Looking for a new anthem song for your favorite cause? Look no further than the Track of the Week “Stood Up” by Alison Sudol, known professionally as A Fine Frenzy.
The striking lyrics and driving melody will make you want to, pardon the
pun, stand up! “And so they sunk every ship we sailed, but we stood up.” I LOVE this song.
After recently previewing a few of the tracks from Alison’s most recent album Bomb in a Birdcage, I downloaded it immediately. Her music draws you in like poetry and her voice is wonderfully expressive. Highly recommend this album and artist.
